The **Chamber of Commerce** is celebrating its 70th year as an organization dedicated to attracting new businesses, promoting existing ones, promoting tourism, and assisting in economic development in Raymondville and Willacy County. The Chamber's diverse responsibilities include relocation assistance, business networking, and community development initiatives. The Chamber of Commerce is governed by a board of directors comprised of twenty members and is staffed by an executive director and an assistant.
The Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 70th year as an organization dedicated to attracting new businesses, promoting existing ones, promoting tourism, and assisting in economic development in Raymondville and Willacy County. The Chamber's diverse responsibilities include relocation assistance, business networking, and community development initiatives. The Chamber of Commerce is governed by a board of directors comprised of twenty members and is staffed by an executive director and an assistant.
Additionally, the Chamber supports city and county projects by seizing opportunities to collaborate with elected officials. The Chamber and its numerous partners offer a variety of business development opportunities, including monthly workshops, seminars, and networking breakfasts. A quarterly tabloid distributed throughout the valley allows the Chamber to promote current and upcoming events.
Grand openings and ribbon cuttings are also coordinated through the Chamber. The Raymondville Chamber of Commerce's staff and board of directors are in charge of organizing the Willacy County Heritage Gala, a Winter Texan Golf tournament, a Viva Raymondville Awards Reception, and a July 4th Celebration. It hosts the Wild in Willacy Boot Fest, the Downtown Christmas Tree Lighting, and a traditional downtown Christmas Parade each year. The Chamber office publishes publications such as Wonderful Willacy, an annual tourist guide to Raymondville and Willacy County, as well as eco-tourism brochures.

- Training of New Teachers (participates by welcoming new teachers and providing info)
- Golf Tournament in Winter in Texas
- Each month, we host a networking breakfast.
- 4th of July Parade & Celebration
- Parade de Noel Annual
- Festival de la nature et de la culture "Wild in Willacy"
- Tree Lighting at Christmas
- Miniconference on H.E.E.L.S.
